“I could not recommend James and the team from First Team Painting Professionals more highly. I have had the pleasure of leaving 2 homes in James’s capable hands over the last 3 years. The first, my own home, was a neglected home build from the 70’s, and it was following a colour consultation that James was recommended to us. We were so impressed by his professional manner and efficient time scheduling, that we gladly offered James the job. Once the job commenced, James’s true strengths of communication and attention to detail shone through. I received a phone call most mornings to discuss the plans and again, if any issues were found. As we didn’t reside at the property, we also received a constant stream of photos once individual rooms were finished. Although delighted with the result, I was honestly a bit sad when the work finished as the team brought such energy with them.
Late last year, I rang James in distress regarding work required on my mother’s beautiful and somewhat large, old Queenslander. It had been neglected of late and once we had attended to the necessary repairs, with a critical eye, my sister and I realised that the whole house required painting before it could be sold. My sister was concerned that we would need 3 quotes, a difficult task at the best of times, let alone during Covid. I reassured her that I knew just the person, but warned her that we could only do the exterior and that she was not to get too attached to the team. James met us on time and with his usual efficiency fitted the job in. The quote was detailed, with several options and easy to read. The payment schedules were transparent. James also recommended several wonderful, modern colour combinations, and sent us photos of the test areas. The team were amazing and incredibly efficient. The colours chosen by James have made the house look grand yet subtle, modern yet classic, and overall somewhat magical.
We were so delighted with the result that my sister decided the interior required painting as well!!! And so the whole process started again, much to our delight. The interior walls, lead light windows and pressed metal ceilings have been beautifully and sensitively attended to by the Team. The house looks beautiful and is ready to meet it’s new family.
